Woodcraft 2-piece engine covers are designed to keep your bike oil tight in the event of a crash as well as to give your bike a custom look that will make you stand out in the crowd. All of our covers are 100% CNC machined from 6061 Aluminum billet to give you both great look s and exceptional strength. The patented replaceable stainless steel skid plate adds wear resistance in the most vulnerable area and can keep your cover both functional and looking good through multiple crashes. The plate is internally bolted and o-ring sealed so that you don’t have to worry about trying to remove bolts with the heads ground off.

This cover does a great job to protect the crankshaft of the ZX10R, which is likely to be damaged in a hard crash on this side.

WARNING FOR OEM BODYWORK - In order to make this cover tough enough to truly protect the engine, Woodcraft had to reshape this cover from stock.  As such, the rubber damper inside the fairing must be removed and the black lower fairing section must be trimmed for installation on stock bodywork.  This is particularly the case with the aluminum skid pads.  We have not run into problems with race bodywork, although cutting clearance for the cover will better protect your race fairings. 

We recommend buying part number 60-0160LO to better enhance the protection and looks for the Left side of your ZX10R.  If you do not elect to buy the 60-0160LO, you will need to buy the gasket (part number 60-0160LOG) to reinstall your stock outer cover.
